Today, Phoenix Data Systems, Inc. holds a prominent position in the market as a leading CMMS provider, specifically serving hospitals in Clinical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering and Plant Engineering/Facilities Maintenance Departments. Their expertise in asset management, facilities, and maintenance operations distinguishes them within the healthcare industry.

Software Overview:

AIMS serves as a comprehensive Work Order Management System that efficiently tracks a wide array of work requests, ranging from Preventative Maintenance requests to repairs involving both in-house and contracted labor and materials. The software enables users to swiftly create and dispatch Work Orders while allowing technicians to apply labor, materials, and notes to each order.

This scalable application provides users with the flexibility to access their data via web browsers or mobile devices from virtually any location worldwide. AIMS is constructed with nine core components and offers thirty-two optional components and interfaces tailored to address diverse equipment maintenance challenges encountered by managers today. This modular design empowers customers to select relevant features that align with their current requirements while retaining the potential for expansion as their needs evolve.

The user base of AIMS is equally diverse, encompassing small facilities with as few as ten beds to large hospital systems exceeding ten thousand beds. Additionally, Independent Service Organizations (ISOs) rely on AIMS for servicing clinics, outpatient facilities, and specific types of hospital equipment.

Currently, AIMS supports more than 25,000 technicians across 3,000 hospitals, managing over 5 million medical devices and hospital equipment while processing more than 70,000 Work Orders daily.

AIMS Mobile Overview:

AIMS Mobile is an integrated application designed to provide technicians with real-time access to AIMS data through iPads or iPhones. Field technicians utilize this application to efficiently manage medical equipment repairs while documenting all pertinent details within Work Orders. In scenarios of limited Wi-Fi connectivity, users can operate offline without risking data loss; completed work seamlessly syncs with the AIMS database once connectivity is restored. The app also features a mapping locator that aids Work Order Dispatchers in identifying technician locations in real time, facilitating prompt assignment of urgent tasks based on proximity.

 <li>Receive push notifications for real-time updates regarding new Work Order assignments</li>
 <li>AIMS Locator Service provides GPS updates from technicians’ devices to enable effective dispatching based on location</li>
